SPIRIT IN THE ROOM
VOL.1 OUT NOW

If Nick Cave, Lemmy, Elvis, Harry Dean Stanton and Iggy, had a child in a church gone mad... That is Dennis.” -Steffan Charizi (editor of Metallica's So What! magazine)
Dennis Sanders is the frontman and creative force behind Los Angeles based band Spirit In The Room. The Spirit In The Room sound is complex and a challenge to categorize, a kaleidoscope of sound... compared to an experimental version of Nine Inch Nails, Roxy Music, Black Sabbath and as loud and aggressive as the Refused. Emotional, sexy and unpredictable songs that will make you want to dance but get you fucked up and inhabited by a punk fury. The dynamic high energy live shows are like a brick to the face as well as a soft place to fall.

"There’s an element of danger to Spirit In The Room that makes the audience wary of getting too close."

"Do yourself a favor and go see Spirit In The Room live. By combining influences ranging from Depeche Mode and Black Sabbath, to noise rock and bits of dance and doom, Spirit In The Room has created something that stands out. Not only do they get you wanting to dance but, they get you riled up in such a way that is reminiscent of going to an old school punk/metal show."
"The style of music in which Spirit In The Room delivers is extremely hard to describe. This only adds to the legend. You hear some NIN, Queens Of The Stone Age and even some Bowie. But, Spirit In The Room truly stands alone. The sound and the style is truly all their own."

"Spirit in the Room: Again, a band I have seen many times, but they are never the same and always fascinating..."
